Connect another AI assistant

Use Monaio in an AI assistant that supports remote MCP connections.

Before you start

  • You have created an Monaio account.
  • You have connected at least one bank account to Monaio.
  • You have access to the AI assistant you want to use.

Use the name Monaio business when you create the connection. Sign in with your Monaio account.

Your AI assistant must support remote MCP servers over HTTPS and OAuth sign-in. Menu names and access depend on the assistant, your plan and administrator settings. This generic guide does not confirm compatibility with a particular assistant. MCP ↗

  1. Check your assistant’s capabilities

Check the assistant’s own help for support for remote MCP servers with Streamable HTTP and OAuth.

  2. Add a connection

Open the assistant’s settings for connections, integrations or tools. Choose to add your own MCP server. Menu names may vary.

  3. Enter Monaio’s server address

Name the connection Monaio business and paste the address below. Choose Streamable HTTP and OAuth if prompted for a transport and authentication method.

  4. Sign in to Monaio

Follow Monaio’s sign-in window. Sign in with your Monaio account, review the access and choose the profile with your own bank data.

  5. Enable and test the connection

Enable Monaio business in a conversation following your assistant’s instructions and try the question below. Check that the answer uses your own transactions.

    Test the connection

“What are my last five transactions?”

You’re ready!

Once you receive an answer based on your own transactions, your connection is ready. You could ask:

  • How much have I spent on groceries this month?
  • Which subscriptions am I paying for?
  • When did I last pay the dentist?
